High-performance amplifier based on the "rail-switching" principle with 2 x 120/180 watts. The A2 amplifier was specially developed to reproduce the musical dynamics of digital technology with pulse fidelity and level accuracy. It effortlessly produces music peaks of over 180 watts per channel. This enormous dynamic range is made possible by a new type of switching technology: the level-controlled switching of the output stages ("rail-switching amplifier"), which ensures high efficiency (low heat generation). The A2/2 has 7 inputs (Phone mm/cm, CD, 2 x tape, tuner, aux). The preamplifier and power amplifier can be separated for looping in a signal processor or for separate operation - e.g. for active speakers. The separate recording selector switch allows free program selection for simultaneous tape or phono recording. Numerous thermal and electrical fuses protect the speakers and power amplifier, the "clipping" indicator remains active even when the LED level display is switched off. A special feature is the relay-controlled adjustment of the loudspeaker outputs, which enables the operation of up to 4 loudspeakers.

Visual condition:
The overall condition of the amplifier is very good, in fact normal signs of use such as slight quirks and or scratches have appeared over time. However, these are mostly minimal and do not affect the functionality of the device.
