Revox PR99 MKIII tape recorder
Quote Revox online:
"The kinship to the Revox B77 is easy to recognize in the controls and their arrangement. The UNCAL buttons and the labeling are new, or have changed. Clearly, the PR99 MK I and MK II have an aluminum-colored front. By default, the PR99 runs at 19 cm/s and 38 cm/s. With the PR99, Revox closed the gap between the consumer machines A77, A700 and B77 and the studio machines Studer A/B67, A810 and so on. For many, the professional machines from Studer were much too expensive and the consumer machines lacked the balanced connections, the calibration function, the easy accessibility to the sound heads.
MKIII
Visually and technically, a lot has changed here! Clearly, the lower dark front panel is immediately noticeable. Also the knobs are no longer aluminum colored. More importantly, there is only one input, no microphone, no dubbing from right to left or the other way around. The corresponding switches and jacks are missing. That was more professional, everything came in above the mixer. At home the preamp does it if there is enough signal level. All PR99s are connected via XLR connectors and require studio levels."
Optical condition:
Generally very good and well maintained condition with normal signs of use over the years.

Technical condition:
The device turns on and the coils turn. Further, the device has not been tested and is therefore offered as a hobbyist device.
For sell this device because not overhauled and extensively tested as a hobbyist device without warranty.
