Power amplifier Braun Atelier HiFi PA4/2:
Braun described his devices in the brochures as follows:
„The PA4 / 2 is the ideal complement to the Control Center CC 4 and is also remote-controlled via this control center.
The PA4 / 2 is a power amplifier. This is what distinguishes him: his extraordinary output. If preamplifiers and power amplifiers are disconnected, one can give a system more power. Thus the CC4 and the PA4 / 2 were created. The PA4 / 2 has 2 x 230 watts of music power and effortlessly operates two pairs of speakers, which can be turned on or off via our RC1 remote control. In order to avoid distortions at high volume, the Braun engineers used high-quality, fast transistors and low-loss capacitors per channel. Several electronic protection circuits keep our power amplifiers above all conceivable influences: overloading of the power stages as well as overheating, inadvertently wrong connection and so on. The PA4 / 2 is a powerful power amplifier, which behaves neutrally even at high volume and impresses with its high musicality. You can also use it as a mono amplifier and expand your system with two PA4 / 2 to 2 x 450 watts of music power.“
Optical condition:
AS NEW: The device has never been used before. It is one of the very last PA4 with a very high serial number.

Technical condition:
The device has been overhauled for safety reasons, so you will enjoy this beautiful device for a very long time.
The following steps have been done:
- 2 loudspeaker relays were replaced
- 3 Power supply unit relays have been replaced
- Conversion of the fan control to regulated operation
- Bridge switch cleaned and re-soldered
- Interruptions were removed
- Quiescent current newly calibrated
- Test run performed
