Quote from the Braun brochure from back then:
"The a/d/s developers equipped the C2 with a two-motor drive. The two frequency-controlled Capstan motors deliver excellent synchronization values. The Sendust pickups in the C2 are particularly wear-free and therefore durable. They have been triple-coated in an elaborate process, so they are well protected against abrasion and can prove their quality during recording and playback over the long term.
Two inputs are available for recording: Record line and Micro line, both of which can be controlled by a separate rotary control on the right and left channels. A special feature is the repeat function: The memory function allows you to mark a point on the tape . If you now play it and the tape has come to an end, it does not switch off as usual, but is rewound and starts again from the marked point. And as often as you like."

Optical condition:

The case is clean and in good condition, with light signs of wear on the controls. The display is clear and without scratches. Overall, the device looks very good and shows only the usual signs of use (light scratches and or quirks) on the casing that are typical for its age.

Technical condition:

The appliance has been thoroughly checked and all necessary repairs have been carried out to ensure that it is in perfect working order. Defective parts have been replaced where necessary and the appliance has been cleaned to ensure optimum performance. We also carried out all necessary maintenance to ensure that the appliance remains reliable in the long term.

• Recording playback relay was renewed
• Sound heads cleaned and demagnetized
