Cassette deck Braun Atelier HiFi C4

Quote from the Braun brochure from back then:
"The C4 has three sound heads, two are combined to form a double head. During playback, it automatically switches to backing tape; during recording, the monitor function allows you to hear exactly what is being recorded. The C4 is factory calibrated for three different types of tape. However, you can also do this yourself using the calibration facility; the C4 stores the values of your preferred tape brand. Our developers have also thought ahead when it comes to noise suppression and built a connection for external systems into the back of the C4."

The C4 cassette deck was also part of the Braun Last Edition R4 and CC4. The C4 can be operated remotely via the Braun Atelier CC4 and R4 control units.

Optical condition:

The case is clean and in good condition, with light wear to the controls. The display is clear and without scratches. Overall, the device looks very good and shows only the usual signs of use (light scratches and or quirks) on the casing that are typical for its age.

The pictures in the gallery serve as a visual representation of the device and should give you an impression of its condition. You will receive a device which is in a similar condition to the one shown. Please note, however, that there may be slight variations due to individual signs of use.

Technical condition:

The appliance has been thoroughly checked and all necessary repairs have been carried out to ensure that it is in perfect working order. Defective parts have been replaced where necessary and the appliance has been cleaned to ensure optimum performance. We also carried out all necessary maintenance to ensure that the appliance remains reliable in the long term.

The following work was carried out, among others:

•         Replaced all belts
•         Sound head cleaned and demagnetized
•         Relay replaced
