Braun described his devices in the brochures as follows:
3-button tape deck with 2 speeds and single Capstan direct drive.
The C4 has three sound heads, two are combined into a double head. It automatically switches to the back of the tape during playback, and you can use the monitor function to listen carefully to the tape for recording. The C4 is factory-set for three different bands. However, you can do this yourself via the calibration device, the C4 stores the values ​​of your preferred tape mark. Our developers have also thought about the topic of noise reduction and added a connection for external systems to the C4 at the rear.

We have overhauled the device in our workshop so that you can enjoy it for a long time. The following work was carried out:

•     All belts were renewed
•     Level control cleaned
•     Recording and playback relays were renewed
•     mechanical parts in the drive were cleaned and greased
•     test run performed
