Receiver Braun Atelier HiFi R4/2, black, very good condition, 6706/18169

Receiver Braun Atelier HiFi R4/2 in black - professionally overhauled in our workshop.

The R4/2 was also part of the "Last Edition" from Braun.

Quote from the Braun brochure from that time:

"The receiver that thinks for itself - with 2 x 130 watts. The R4/2 fulfills several tasks at once. First of all it is the control center of the remote controlled Atelier system. In addition, it is amplifier and tuner in one device, i.e. amplifier and radio receiver. The R4 receives the signal of the remote control RC1 and forwards it internally to a processor, which controls the corresponding component. No matter which function you select: The display clearly reports back where the music is coming from. The R4/2 has 2 x 130 watts of music power. If you want to connect active speakers or an external power amplifier, preamp and power amp can be easily separated in the R4/2. The R4/2 amplifies not only sound signals from HiFi components, but also from televisions. You can thus amplify the TV sound in HiFi quality. Also in the interaction of picture and sound the R4/2 does not save a luxury. It has a TV automatic, which means that it turns on when you start the TV. Of course, the R4/2 is also an excellent radio. A PLL crystal synthesizer tuner to be exact, which ultimately means crystal clear reception. To save you the trouble of searching for stations, the R4/2 has preset memories. You can hold 30 stations there - either on AM or FM."

Generally very good condition with normal signs of use over the years.

•     NF power amplifier, relays and transistors replaced
•     Goldcap and electrolytic capacitors in the control panel replaced
•     Phono switch cleaned
•     test run done
