Most records - old and new - come in a paper sleeve that offers no protection. Paper particles build up in the groove and when you pull the record out of the sleeve, it becomes statically charged. After cleaning your records, it is better to store them in high-quality anti-static, dust-free inner sleeves and sturdy outer sleeves. Tonar offers a wide range of high quality protective sleeves for all formats to protect your valuable records and albums from dust, dirt and airborne contaminants.

The best solution from Tonar is the already world famous 'Plastipap inner sleeve'. This very strong sleeve consists of 4 layers of 40 micron thick HDPE super antistatic plastic with two layers of 100% sealed paper reinforcements in between. This product is currently only available for 12 inch LP records.
