Allison Inc. CD7 floorstanding loudspeaker
The new Allison:Seven is a relatively inexpensive, floor-standing two-way loudspeaker designed to be placed against a wall, but at least three feet from a corner. Because of their wide dispersion pattern, a pair of Allison:Seven speakers need not be placed against the same wall and will work effectively even when placed at right angles to each other. The oak veneer cabinet is 27-1/2 inches high and 9-5/8 inches wide, and each speaker weighs 22 pounds.
The Allison:Seven's 8-inch woofer faces upward, and in the recommended placement, its edge is less than an inch from the wall. (This is necessary to avoid the partial cancellation of low-mid response that occurs when a woofer is placed about three feet from the wall.) The woofer operates in a closed (acoustically sprung) enclosure with a volume of 1,775 cubic inches and resonates at 52 Hz. The transition to the tweeter occurs at 2,000 Hz with a slope of 6 dB per octave. The speaker has no level or balance controls.

Technical condition:

No information can be given about the condition of the beading, as this could be checked through the fabric, which is not removable.
