PA4: Quote from the Braun brochure from back then:
"The PA4 is the ideal complement to the Control Center CC 4 and can also be remote-controlled via it.
Strictly speaking, the PA4 is a power amplifier. That says what distinguishes it: its extraordinary output power. When the preamplifier and power amplifier are separated, you can give a system more power. This is how the CC4 and the PA4 came into being. The PA4 has 2 x 250 watts of music power and easily drives two pairs of speakers, which you can switch on or off using our RC1 remote control. To avoid distortion at high volume, Braun engineers used high-quality, high-speed transistors and low-loss capacitors per channel. Several electronic protection circuits protect our power amplifiers from all conceivable influences: Overloading of the power stages as well as overheating, accidental wrong connection and so on. The PA4 is a powerful power amplifier that behaves neutrally even at high volumes and impresses with its high musicality. You can also use it as a mono power amplifier and expand your system with two PA4s to 2 x 450 watts of music power."

CC4: Quote from the Braun brochure from back then:
"To make the atelier system remote controllable and at the same time more resilient, we have developed the tuner preamplifier CC4 and the power amplifier PA4. The CC4 makes your atelier system remotely controllable, and if you operate it alone, you can even connect active speakers or any power amplifier.
The CC4 has the same facilities as the R4: it is a control centre with a built-in preamplifier, through which you can remotely control the atelier system. And at the same time, it is an excellent broadcasting device with automatic station search, which works in 50 kHz steps. However, many private stations - in future even more than today - are on the 25 KHz intervals. CC4 and R4 receive them just as well as any other station, by manual fine-tuning. And one more thing: unfortunately, weakly incident transmitters tend to produce noise. For this, R4 and CC4 have a high-blend button. The noise disappears, and when you programme one of these transmitters, CC4 and R4 store the high blend at the same time. The only difference to the R4 can be found on the back of the CC4. Instead of four outputs for speakers, there are four pre-out sockets. That's where you connect the CC4 to up to two power amplifiers or your powered speakers."
