The most important functions - slider, return, start, pause, fast/slow search and track and subtitle skip in both directions - are controlled by touch buttons on the front panel. As already mentioned, there is a prism under the slider on which the program and secondary functions can be selected after folding it out. A microcomputer with Braun-specific software evaluates the information contained on the CD in addition to the audio signals and enables maximum operating convenience. The display unit of the CD 3 provides continuous information on the relevant positions and times (total time, remaining time on the CD, time until the next track starts). With the CD 3, the first track of each CD can be started exactly one syllable at a time. The CD 3 is particularly insensitive to vibrations.

Optical condition:

The casing is clean and in good condition, with slight signs of wear on the controls. The display is clear and without scratches. Overall, the player looks good and only shows the usual signs of use (light scratches and or marks) on the casing, which are typical for its age.

Technical condition:

The appliance has been thoroughly checked and all necessary repairs have been carried out to ensure that it is in perfect working order. Defective parts have been replaced where necessary and the appliance has been cleaned to ensure optimum performance. We also carried out all necessary maintenance to ensure that the appliance remains reliable in the long term.
