Amplifier Braun Atelier HiFi A2:

High-performance amplifier according to the "rail-switching" principle with 2 x 120/180 watts.

The amplifier A2 has been specifically designed to reproduce the music dynamics of the digital technology in an impulsive and precise manner. It can effortlessly produce over 180 watts per channel. This tremendous dynamic is made possible by a novel switching technology: the level-controlled switching on of the output stages ("rail-switching-amplifier"), which ensures high efficiency (little heat generation). The A2 / 2 has 7 inputs (Phone mm / mc,  2 x Band, Tuner, Aux). For looping in a signal processor or for separate operation - e.g. For active boxes - preamplifiers and power amplifiers can be separated. The separate recording selector allows free program selection with simultaneous tape or phono overloading. Numerous thermal and elec- tical fuses protect the loudspeaker and power amplifier; the "clipping" indicator remains active even when the LED level indicator is off. A special feature is the relay-controlled adjustment of the loudspeaker outputs, which allows a softer operation of up to 4 loudspeakers.

Visual condition:
The overall condition of the amplifier is very good, in fact normal signs of use such as slight quirks and or scratches have appeared over time. However, these are mostly minimal and do not affect the functionality of the device.
