The history of the LS 200 is a promise for the future. Because it is the highly developed product of a long-term cooperation between Telarc and Braun.  Remember?

In 1978, Telarc was the first to develop a process for making digital music recordings as vinyl records. Today, Telarc CDs are an integral part of the reference libraries of test institutes and lovers of excellent classical recordings worldwide. From the beginning, Telarc worked with loudspeakers from Braun as studio monitors. The demands on the loudspeakers were immense: they had to be able to handle high dynamic jumps and at the same time guarantee absolute naturalness of reproduction. The fact that Telarc and Braun continued to work hand in hand proves how brilliantly the Braun speakers solved their task even back then. This gave rise to the idea of developing a professional monitor whose dimensions, weight and cost would allow it to be used at home as well.

The result was the new LS 200, a box that can be used to evaluate the recording quality of direct cuts and compact discs, and which has received excellent reviews from professionals abroad: For example, the LS 200 won the 1985 American Grand Prix, the highest award given by U.S. experts."

Optical condition:

Generally very good condition with minimal signs of use over the years.

One speaker has a scratch on the right side (see photo).
