The CD 2³ is the simple one among the Braun CD players. Simple means in comfort, but it has all the equipment and processing features that distinguish our CD players.
With the CD 2³, this refers especially to signal processing and sound quality. In a width corresponding to a normal record groove, a CD contains about 60 tracks. The laser must therefore be able to work with extraordinary precision and without interference. The atelier CD players are equipped with a microprocessor that immediately detects and corrects vibrations and missing discs. If the CD is not playable at all, the slider automatically retracts.
The CD 2³ is very easy to operate, to program (20 tracks in any order) and remotely controllable in all important functions in connection with the R4 or CC4 control units via the "Audio" address field of the RC 1 remote control.
And a count-down circuit allows you to start each title very precisely. In addition, the CD 2³ can repeat the entire CD, individual tracks or a program sequence as often as you like.
The remaining display tells you how long the CD, a title or a program is still running. If a CD is inserted in the CD 2³ and you switch it on via the power switch or timer, it starts playing automatically by itself.

Optical condition:

Generally very good condition with normal signs of use over the years.

Technical condition:

Perfect condition. Device has been overhauled in our workshop, so you can enjoy your purchase for a long time.

The following work was done:

•     The slider belt has just been renewed
•     the laser was cleaned, the mechanics of laser and drawer were cleaned and oiled
•     power board and driver re-soldered
•     laser adjustment done
•     test run performed

The CD player CD2³ can be remote controlled by the control unit R4 or CC4 via the "Audio" address field of the remote control RC 1 (available here in the store)!
