Braun LAST EDITION preamplifier CC4/2, gray, very good condition, 6513/31046

The Control Center CC4/2 in original studio light gray, very rare. The CC4/2 is the last version of the CC4, which was also part of the Last Edition from Braun.

Quote from the Braun brochure from that time:
"To make the atelier system remote controllable and at the same time more resilient, we developed the tuner preamplifier CC4 and the power amplifier PA4. Via the CC4 your atelier system becomes remote controllable, and if you operate it alone you can even connect active boxes or any power amplifier. The CC4 has the same facilities as the R4: it is control center with built-in preamplifier, through which you remotely control the atelier system. And at the same time it is an excellent broadcasting device with automatic station search, working in 50 kHz steps. But many private stations - in the future even more than today - are on the 25 KHz intervals. CC4 and R4 receive them just as well as any other station, by manual fine tuning. And one more thing: Unfortunately, weakly incident stations tend to be noisy. For this, R4 and CC4 have a high-blend button. The noise disappears, and when you program one of these stations, CC4 and R4 store the high blend at the same time. The only difference to the R4 can be found on the back of the CC4. Instead of four outputs for speakers, there are four pre-out jacks. That's where you connect the CC4 to up to two power amplifiers or your powered speakers."

Visual Condition:

Generally very good and well-maintained condition with normal signs of use over the years.

•     Duration test run done
