CD Player Braun Atelier HiFi CD4/2 in black:

Braun described this unit in its brochures as follows:

"The quality of our building blocks begins with the materials we use to make them. The CD4-2 has a cabinet made of thick aluminum sheet, its drive is made of die-cast aluminum and embedded in a special sub-chassis suspension. This allows the laser to work quietly even when the case is shaken. What the laser reads from the CD only gains acoustic quality in the filters. The perfect harmony of the analog and digital filters in the CD4-2 ensures a smooth progression of frequencies and thus an absolutely natural, uncolored reproduction. The CD4 allows you to program 16 tracks in any order. It has forward and rewind in two speeds. The CD4-2 becomes really comfortable by the title/index jump in both directions as well as by the continuous repetition of a CD, a title, a CD section or a program sequence. CD autostart function."

Visual Condition:

Generally very good condition with normal signs of use over the years.

Technical condition:

TOP condition, plays flawlessly.
The unit was checked in our workshop, the following things were done:

•     CD drawer lubricated and adjusted
•     Guide rollers cleaned
•     Laser cleaned,
•     Slider belt renewed
•     Slider drive repaired
•     Gear wheels greased
•     Device inspected for defective solder joints and repaired
•     Test run performed
