Quote from the Braun brochure from that time:
"The C2 was equipped by the a/d/s developers with a two-motor drive. The two frequency-controlled Capstan motors deliver excellent synchronization values. The Sendust sound heads in the C2 are particularly wear-free and therefore durable. They have been triple-coated in an elaborate process, so they are well protected against abrasion and can demonstrate their quality in recording and playback over the long term.
Two inputs are available for recording: Record Line and Micro Line, both controllable by their own knob on the right and left channels.
A special feature is the repeat function:
Through the memory function, you can mark a point on the tape . If you play it now and the tape is over, it doesn't turn off as usual, but rewinds and starts again from the marked spot. And it will do that as many times as you want."

Very good condition with few signs of use.

•     recording/playback relays were exchanged
•     mechanical parts in the drive cleaned and lubricated
•     power supply checked
•     Duration test run performed
